HISTORY OF
Yinzgiving
In the heart of Pittsburgh, a beautiful tradition was born out of necessity during the challenging times of the 2020 pandemic. As family gatherings became restricted and many of our neighbors found themselves spending Thanksgiving alone, we realized there was something we could do to help.
Meet Yinzgiving—our way of sharing the holiday spirit with those who need it most. What started as JuJu Smith-Schuster's Thanksgiving Meal Distribution program has now grown into its fourth year, serving the Pittsburgh community with warm, delicious Thanksgiving Day meals.
We were driven by a simple yet powerful notion: No one should be deprived of a traditional Thanksgiving meal because of circumstances beyond their control. Especially during a time when gratitude and giving back to the community are more important than ever.
Yinzgiving is a collaborative effort, organized by Ten Four Social, Dive Bar & Grille, and ACORx Pharmacy. Each plays a crucial role in making this event possible, but the true magic comes from our community!

The Team
ACORx Pharmacy
ACORx Pharmacy utilizes their advanced route mapping technology to coordinate and share efficient driving routes to volunteer drivers based on the individuals that will be receiving Yinzgiving meals.
Dive Bar & Grille
Dive Bar & Grille prepares all meals and coordinates the food packaging for delivery. They also serve as a central meeting location for all volunteers on Thanksgiving Day.
Ten Four Social
Ten Four Social manages marketing and communications for the event including volunteer registration, donation management, and community awareness initiatives.
JuJu Foundation
The JuJu Foundation, who helped to inspire this amazing initiative, continues to support the cause and the Pittsburgh Community each year as this special tradition continues.
